This policy explains what personal information Pioneer Express (Pvt) Ltd (“Pioneer Express”, “we”, “us”) collects through www.pioneerexp.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers this website only. Information you give us while booking or shipping cargo is also handled under the terms of that booking.

Who we are

Pioneer Express (Pvt) Ltd is a freight forwarder established in 1989, part of Gul Group, with its head office at M-41(A), Mezzanine Floor, Park Towers, Shahrah-e-Firdausi, Clifton, Karachi 75600, Pakistan. What we collect

When you send the contact form

Your name, company name, email address and phone number
The service you are interested in, the office you want to reach and your route
Your message, and any file you attach (up to 8 MB)

When you request a quote

Your name, email address and phone number
Shipment details: type of shipment and service, origin and destination, number of packages, weight, dimensions, declared value and whether you need pickup
Your message, and any file you attach (up to 8 MB), such as a packing list or invoice

When you track a shipment

The tracking number you enter. We use it only to look up that shipment.

Automatically

Like any website, our server records technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. We use these to keep the site running and secure. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and prepare the quote you asked for
To route your request to the right office and team
To follow up on that enquiry or quote
To protect the site and its forms from spam and abuse

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists from these forms.

Who we share it with

Our own staff in the office that handles your request. Form submissions are sent to them by email.
Carriers, agents and customs authorities, only if you go on to book a shipment with us and only what is needed to move it.
Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that forms are sent by a person and not a bot. Google processes your use of reCAPTCHA under the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

Our pages also load fonts and icons from Google Fonts and Cloudflare’s cdnjs, which receive your IP address when they send those files to your browser.

Cookies

We use only cookies the site needs to work:

A session cookie (ASP.NET_SessionId) that lasts until you close your browser or 30 minutes of inactivity. On blog posts it stops one visit being counted as several views.
Cookies set by Google reCAPTCHA on the contact and quote pages, used to tell people from bots.

We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries, quote requests and their attachments for as long as we need them to respond, to handle any shipment that follows, and to keep proper business records. After that we delete them. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner and we have no legal reason to keep it, we will.

How we protect it

The whole site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into our forms is encrypted on its way to us. Uploaded files are stored in a folder the public cannot open, and only the file types our forms allow are accepted.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email contact@pioneerexp.com with the name and email address you used, and we will reply within 30 days.
