Air cargo booked on chargeable weight
Air freight is billed on whichever is greater: actual gross weight or volumetric weight. Light, bulky cargo almost always pays on volume, so how a consignment is packed and palletised changes the invoice as much as the rate does. We check the chargeable weight before booking and tell you if repacking will cost less than flying the air.
As an IATA-approved agent we book direct with Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Etihad, KLM, Lufthansa, Saudia and others — export uplifts from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, and inbound cargo arriving at the same gateways. For cargo that has to make a specific flight, we arrange space in advance rather than tendering it and hoping — and we tell you when it is uplifted, not after it lands.
